Every once in a while, we work with a client whose case is unique. For any number of reasons, we end up needing to give an extra ten percent or more to make sure that client walks away happy. We know that things rarely work out exactly as planned - and even though life gets in the way of even the best laid plans, we make sure that our clients get what they need from us.
Here are a few times we've really pulled out all the stops to help our clients:
Terry's Thesis Saga
Terry's story is a wild ride – a long saga of thesis woes that we were finally able to set right. Terry originally came to us for just one thesis chapter, the literature review. It was a simple enough assignment and we got a draft done quickly. Unfortunately, Terry's advisor dropped the ball and actually had a student read the chapter instead of reading it herself. Terry didn't know that, and neither did we.
We found another writer to completely redo the chapter, and Terry, impressed with how we were handling the situation, gave us 2 more chapters to write. The Advisor and her students were really starting to send Terry mixed signals, however, and we had to revise those chapters 3 times!
In the end, the truth came out, and the advisor finally decided to read Terry's thesis chapters herself. It turns out that the first revision was closest to what the advisor was truly looking for! We dug out our old copy, tweaked it a little, wrote the 2 remaining chapters, and it all worked out.
Terry earned the degree and is sending us new assignments AND new clients because of the way we handled all the problems caused by the advisor. No matter what challenge our clients face, we're always willing to stick with them and get them through it in one piece.
